Minnesota United are close to a deal for Boca Juniors striker Ramon Abila, reports the Pioneer Press.

The 31-year-old has been with Boca since 2018, and has also played in Brazil with Cruzeiro.

Murtough a factor in Butt leaving Man Utd


The appointment of John Murtough as football director was part of the reason Nicky Butt left Manchester United, reports The Athletic. 

Butt stepped down as head of first-team development at United on Wednesday, saying he was looking for a new challenge. 

But there has been friction behind the scenes between Butt and Murtough, which was part of the reason for the former midfielder's departure.

Madrid want Diaz back from Milan


Real Madrid want to bring on-loan attacker Brahim Diaz back to the club after his loan at AC Milan, reports Calciomercato.

Milan are interested in signing the young Spaniard on a permanent basis, but Madrid feel the impending departure of Lucas Vazquez means Diaz will have more chances in the future.

There is still a possibility that Diaz could head back to Milan next season on another loan.

Nketiah admits Arsenal playing time concern


Eddie Nketiah has admitted concerns over his playing time under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, after being named the captain for England's campaign at the Under-21 European Championships.

Nketiah, who has 15 months left on his current contract, has failed to make Arteta's last six league matchday squads ahead of the tournament.

Real Madrid are not interested in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club, reports COPE.

The 36-year-old, whose contract with Juventus expires in 2022, has been linked with a move away from the club after another failure in the Champions League. 

But the Blancos are looking to the future rather than considering a move for a star of their past.

Barca aiming to sell Coutinho and Greizmann


Barcelona are looking to sell Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann, reports El Confidencial.

The club are massively in debt and to avoid selling some of their young stars, like Pedri or Ansu Fati, Barca are hoping to offload the two high-priced attackers.

Butt leaves Man Utd for 'new challenge'


Nicky Butt has stepped down as head of first-team development at Manchester United.

The former United midfielder leaves after spending nine years in coaching and player development roles with the club's academy.

“I already know from my playing days how difficult it is to leave Manchester United, but it feels like the right moment for a new professional challenge and I look forward to exploring opportunities that build on the great experiences I’ve had here over the past nine years," Butt told the club's official website.

Rapids loan two to Phoenix


The Colorado Rapids have loaned goalkeeper Andre Rawls and defender Jeremy Kelly to USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC, the club announced.

Rawls and Kelly will head to Phoenix for the duration of the 2021 campaign but can be recalled by the MLS club at any time.

Haaland warned about leaving Dortmund too early


Matthias Sammer has warned Erling Haaland about leaving Borussia Dortmund too early as rumours continue to link the star striker with a big-money move.

Sammer cited Ousmane Dembele's ill-fated move to Barcelona in 2017, using the French winger as an example of what can happen if you aren't ready for that leap.

Juve insist Ronaldo will see out contract


Juventus vice-chairman Pavel Nedved has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be leaving the club in the summer transfer window and will see out the rest of his contract.

"For me, Ronaldo can't be touched," Nedved said in an interview with DAZN. "He has a contract until June 30, 2022 and will stay. What happens after that remains to be seen."

Liverpool are planning to scout Real Madrid defender Nacho when the two teams meet in the Champions League - according to the AS.

The Reds could make a move for the 31-year-old this summer if he performs well in next month's quarter-final tie.

'Aguero could be an option for Man Utd'


Sergio Aguero could be a viable option for Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Paul Ince, who has urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make a move for the Manchester City striker.

Aguero's future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months, with the 32-year-old set to become a free agent when his contract at the Etihad Stadium expires at the end of June.

United are expected to be in the market for a new centre-forward at the end of the season amid links with Tottenham's Harry Kane and Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, but Ince has suggested Aguero as a bold alternative target for his old club.

Roca not interested in Bayern exit


The agent of Marc Roca has confirmed to Goal that his client has no intention of looking for a summer exit – on loan or otherwise – from Bayern Munich.

“Marc is neither considering the idea of leaving Bayern, nor has Bayern informed us that they want to transfer Marc at the end of the season,” Christian Wein said.

On Roca not having much playing time under Hansi Flick, his representative added: “I haven't spoken to Hansi recently. I don't know what exactly he thinks about Marc at the moment.

“But we were told from the start that he would slowly be introduced to the [first] team, eased into the training and game rhythm expected of players in Germany.

“There is no reason for Marc to leave the club. He feels very comfortable with the team and in the city.”

Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing PAOK's teenage winger Christos Tzolis, according to Bild.

The report states that €15 million (£13m/$18m) will be enough to secure the services of the 19-year-old, who has racked up 16 goals and 10 assists across all competitions so far this season.

Inter boss Antonio Conte still keen on Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul - according to Calcio Mercato.

Conte tried to sign the 26-year-old in January, but a final deal fell through due to Christian Eriksen staying at San Siro.

Inter can sign De Paul, whose current contract does not expire until 2024, for €35 million (£30m/$41m) in the summer transfer window.
