Villa eye Cantwell as potential Grealish replacement


Aston Villa will consider a move for Norwich's Todd Cantwell if Jack Grealish leaves this summer, according to the Mail.

Premier League leaders Manchester City are believed to be considering a £100 million ($138m) bid for Villa skipper Grealish.

If Dean Smith's side cash-in on their prized asset, then Cantwell, valued at around £30m ($41m), is high on their shortlist of potential replacements.

FSG rejected Reds takeover bid


Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, rejected a takeover bid worth nearly £3 billion ($4.1bn), according to the Mirror.

The bid, believed to be from the Middle East, was made before the aborted European Super League plan and ensuing protests put FSG's ownership of the Reds in the spotlight.

A number of other parties are waiting in the wings should FSG decide to cash-in on a club they bought for £300 million ($416m) in 2010.

Koeman confident in Barca return


Ronald Koeman is confident his time at Barcelona will last beyond the 2020-21 campaign, as he's faced plenty of questions about his suitability for the position but still has the club in contention for a La Liga title entering the final month.

"The president from the first day has shown his support and confidence in me," Koeman said. "Until the opposite happens then I'll say the same thing."

Leeds have learned that left-back target Nicolas Tagliafico is available this summer for just £13 million, much less than they expected Ajax to require, according to the Daily Mail.

But that reduced price for the Argentine defender could invite others into the chase, including Manchester City and Inter Milan.

Tagliafico, 27, has spent the past four seasons in the Dutch Eredivisie after first making his name at Independiente.

West Ham fear Liverpool Hlozek interference


West Ham have grown concerned that Liverpool will beat them to 18-year-old Sparta Prague wonderkid Adam Hlozek, reports Football Insider.

The Hammers are "very keen" on the forward but feel the Reds can outdo them in terms of recruitment and spending power.

Ek serious about Arsenal takeover interest


Spotify founder Daniel Ek is serious about his interest in taking over Arsenal and is ready to make a formal offer, reports the Telegraph.

Ek posted a message on Twitter on Friday evening declaring his interest in taking the club off the hands off Stan Kroenke, who was the subject of furious fan protests outside Emirates Stadium before the Gunners' game against Everton.

AC Milan are trying to sign Mike Maignan from Lille to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer.

Calciomercato reports the Serie A side have reached a personal agreement with the 25-year-old and hope to convince the Ligue 1 side to sell.

They have not been able to convince Donnarumma to sign a new deal and he looks set to leave at the end of the season.

Fulham goalkeeper Alex Borto has signed a professional contract with the Premier League side.

The 18-year-old has impressed for Fulham's youth side and will stay in England for the time being.

"I was really happy because it was always a dream of mine to go pro. For me to hear that news, I was just so blessed. All the hard work that I've been putting in has paid off," the American said.
