Team news

Barcelona have Jordi Alba suspended for the game, while Nelson Semedo is out with an injury picked up in the weekend win over Girona.

Luis Suarez is one booking away from suspension, meaning he could be rested ahead of the visit of Atletico on Sunday.

Las Palmas will be without defender Pedro Bigas and midfielder Momo, who are both injured.

Las Palmas to struggle at both ends

With the second worst attack in La Liga and the division's most leaky defence, it is hardly surprising that Las Palmas are in a relegation battle.

The sale of talisman Jonathan Viera ten days ago has considerably weakened the side, and a team that has scored 18 goals in 25 games will only be worse off without someone of his quality.

That tally of goals scored is unlikely to increase on Thursday night, with Barca boasting the best away defensive record in the Spanish top flight - six goals conceded in 13 games.

Preview and predictions

Barcelona to win to nil is priced at evens (2.00) and has paid out in six of their last nine away games in La Liga.

Against a team as poor in the final third as Las Palmas, it has every chance of doing so once more on Thursday.
