The creative midfielder, who can also play in either wing, has been out of action for one month following a nasty ankle injury accumulated in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, during the Super Cup competition. Despite making a return to training this week, Kateregga says he will not be involved against the power men.
"Yes, I have been training this week, giving my best but returning from injury and getting match fitness are two different things. My ankle has healed, I feel okay now, but in terms of match fitness, no, I am not ready but it is just a matter of time. Some things you have to work harder to attain," the Ugandan told Goal on Friday.
"The match against Western Stima is definitely going to be tough but I have faith that we will get the three points."
AFC Leopards will be seeking to revenge against the powermen having lost three times last season when they met.
