Kwara United are mentally prepared to defeat Lobi Stars, says Wilson

The Harmony Warriors are desperate to move out of the bottom spot and the midfielder is confident they are mentally fit to win

Tony Wilson assures Kwara United are ready to face Lobi Stars, stressing that they are mentally prepared to win at the Kwara Stadium in Ilorin on Wednesday

John Obuh's side are facing a poor start to their topflight return as they sit bottom of the Nigeria Professional Football League log with only three points from five games.

And with a win needed to leave the log’s foot, Wilson insists the Harmony Warriors are well motivated to subdue the Pride of Benue to turn around their miserable run this season.

"We have not started well this season but the team is currently in high spirit and my teammates are looking prepared for the match against Lobi Stars," Wilson told Goal.

"We did very well last season and have come a long way to get the promotion to this level and the team knows what is at stake at this point in time.

"We are ready for fight and more committed to the course of getting victory over Lobi and make the fans happy.

"I will urge the fans to remain strongly behind us and remain supportive with their prayers because we are eager to do well again."
