KPL transfers: Tusker sign former Gor Mahia star

Captain James Situma and midfielder Humphrey Mieno are among the fourteen players released by the brewers

Tusker FC have completed the signing of former Gor Mahia striker Timothy Otieno on a three year contract.

Otieno, who also played for Posta Rangers on loan, was considered surplus to requirements at K’Ogalo something that prompted the management to release him. Tusker official Charles Obiny has confirmed to Goal the new development regarding Otieno.

“Yes, Timothy Otieno has signed for us, a three year contract. As Tusker we are happy to have him because we are aware of his qualities, and as a matter of fact we are confident he will add value to our side.

“Otieno joins Robert Achema, who we signed from Western Stima on a three year deal as well. We are still active in the transfer window, because we have to replace those players we released.”
