2009 Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka have completed the signing of Western Stima defender Wesley Onguso.

The lanky defender has been in good form for the relegation threatened side and was part of the All Stars team that played Hull City early this year. Club President Elly Kalekwa has confirmed to Goal the defender will be part of the team once the league resumes.

"We have signed him (Onguso) on a two year contract, he is part of us and we are happy to have managed to bring him on board. He will add quality to the team as we aim at doing better. His experience is vital and he will re-energize this team; it is a good addition."

Batoto ba Mungu are on a spending spree after an average first leg performance. Hillary Echesa is another player, who has joined the Sam Ssimbwa led side from Chemelil Sugar.
