Mathare United have reached an agreement to release keeper Robert Mboya.

The custodian joined the ‘Slum Boys’ for his second stint in January from Kariobangi Sharks but has now been released on mutual agreement. “The club has reached an agreement with Robert Mboya to part ways on mutual consent.

“His departure cuts short his second stint at the club which began in January 2018 after he rejoined the club from Kariobangi Sharks. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” revealed the club in a statement obtained by Goal.

Mboya becomes the second keeper to leave Mathare United this transfer window after Wycliffe Kasaya signed for Sofapaka.
