KPL transfers: Gor Mahia sign Western Stima midfielder

Bernard Ondiek has ditched the power men to sign a three year contract with the Kenyan champions

Gor Mahia have signed Western Stima offensive midfielder Bernard Ondiek.

Ondiek has ditched the power men to sign a three year contract with the Kenyan champions. K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda has confirmed the latest signing. “We have signed Ondiek from Western Stima.

“The player will join us for three years and we have already received the release letter from Stima. The team is now good to go as they resume training tomorrow (Tuesday).”

Aduda has also confirmed that the club has received the ITC for new Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan. The Ivorian striker, who has penned a two year contract to join the Kenyan champions, is expected in the country in the wee hours of Tuesday (tomorrow).

“Guikan is due in the country aboard Ethiopian Airline on Tuesday morning. We have managed to secure his release letter and the ITC and are now good to go.

 "The striker has signed a two year contract and will be a good addition to our squad as we strive to do better in 2018.”

The Ivorian scored six Champions League goals for AS Port Louis last campaign, including two against Tusker FC.
