Odera, who signed for Ingwe last season from Nairobi City Stars, is said to be forcing a move to join Tusker, a decision that has irritated new coach Nicola Kavazovic. A source privy to happenings at the Den has now confirmed that the coach has asked the management to let go of the player.
Also in line to leave the club is Team Manager Gilbert Selebwa and assistant coach Tom Juma. “The only news as at yesterday (Monday) is that Ezekiel Odera might be dropped. He has been reporting late to training and sometimes even does not show up a move that has irritated the new coach.
“The coach now wants the management to release the player because he is also trying to force a transfer to Tusker FC. He (the coach) has given a go ahead for the player to be allowed to leave.”
The source added, “Gilbert Selebwa and Tom Juma might also not stay. There are plans to restructure the technical bench and the club is looking beyond the two. The changes could be made public in the coming weeks.”
AFC Leopards will be seeking for a better season, after bringing in a new coach and have also signed a couple of players. Ingwe will start the league with a clash against Kakamega Homeboyz on December 8.
