Kenyan Premier League have ordered AFC Leopards to get a new venue for their derby against Gor Mahia on July 21.

Ingwe had picked Bukhungu Stadium to host the match but following the ugly scenes witnessed during their recent match against Kakamega Homeboyz, they have been requested to get another venue.

Ingwe organizing secretary Timothy Lilumbi has revealed to Goal that the match will not be played in Kakamega owing to security reasons. “KPL says we can only host the match at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru or at Kasarani.

“After Sunday's incident, they say Bukhungu is not safe. We would have loved to host the match there but there is little we can do right now; we have to comply.”

The league derby was initially set for May but had to be postponed after FKF requested for the same to pave way for Harambee Stars’ friendly matches.
