KPL confirm Ambrose Rachier's chairmanship

Kenyan Premier League Limited have confirmed that Gor Mahia boss Ambrose Rachier will be the chairman of the league management for the next six months.

Rachier has been the body’s vice chairman but James Musyoki's resignation from chairmanship has paved way for the K’Ogalo supremo to take charge.

This has been confirmed through a communique obtained by Goal from the league management with a message of good wish to the immediate former chairman, who was also the boss at Tusker FC.

“As per KPL policy following the KPL Governing Council Resolution of 18 December 2013, Gor Mahia Football Club Chairman, Mr. Ambrose Rachier will take over as KPL Chairman for the next 6 months before relinquishing the position to the incoming Tusker Football Club Chairman.

“Kenyan Premier League Ltd wishes Mr. Musyoki all the best in his new endeavors.”

Daniel Aduda, who was Tusker’s vice chairman has since been elevated to fill the void left by Musyoki at the club.
