Kenyan stars named in Zesco United squad for Al Hilal tie

Harambee Stars trio is part of Zesco United team named for Al Hilal Elobied task

Three Kenyan footballers have been named in the 18-man Zesco United squad for Caf Confederation Cup match against Sudanese Al Hilal Elobied on Wednesday.

Head coach Zlatko Krmpotic has picked defender David ‘Calabar’ Odhiambo, midfielder Anthony ‘Teddy’ Akumu and striker Jesse Were among other players for the Group C duty.

It will be their second group match after beating Egyptian Smouha in Ndola on May 13. The team will leave Ndola at 15:05pm for Khartoum via Nairobi.

The Squad: Marcel Kasongo Kalonda, Idris Mbombo, Patrick Kashita Kongolo, Ben Adama Banh, David Owino Odhiambo, Anthony Akumu Agay, Jesse Jackson Were, Jacob Banda, Lameck Nyangu, Daut Musekwa, Fackson Kapumbu, Misheck Chaila, John Chingandu, Kondwani Mtonga, Simon Silwimba, Dave Daka, Lazarous Kambole, Bornwell Elijah Silengo.
