Ushuru head coach Ken Kenyatta is confident that his side will make it to the top by the end of the current National Super League season.

The taxmen were held to a one all draw by visiting Coast Stima on Monday in a match played at Camp Toyoyo Grounds, Nairobi. The result meant the former Kenyan Premier League side dropped to second position on the log with 52 points, same as leaders Western Stima, who have a better goal difference.

Kenyatta is however, not worried with that. "I definitely wanted to win against them, Coast Stima, but we were not at our best, the chances we created and missed in the first half came back to haunt us.

"This is a marathon, yes, was disappointed with the fact that we did not get maximum points but the fact remains that we are still in it.

"It is a wake up call to my team, we have to work harder and make sure that we get maximum points from remaining matches because we need to return to the top of the table," Kenyatta told Goal.

Western Stima, Ushuru and KCB occupy the first three slots on the table.
