“We have had some days to rest and recover from our last game with Kwara United and now that our opponents for the semi-final have been known we will be ready for them," Ashadi told Goal.

“Kano Pillars are worthy opponents and the games we played against them in the league were very competitive. We expect to play our best game against them. We have said that no team can stop us and we shall go into the semi-final very confident that we can progress.

“This is our best year in the competition in recent years and we must do our best to qualify the team for the final. Kano Pillars will come with confidence that they can do it but we will show them that we are up to the task.”
