Oyemba guided Sharks to a third-place finish in their debut season in the KPL

Kariobangi Sharks first-choice goalkeeper John Oyemba is back from injury.

The custodian struggled with a back injury sustained in a Kenyan Premier League clash against Posta Rangers in the first leg.

But Oyemba, who had a stellar performance in the 2017 season, where he guided Sharks to a third-place finish, could not replicate the same form in the subsequent season after he was sidelined for the better part of the campaign with a nagging injury.

The good news for coach William Muluya is that he might have his dependable custodian alongside Sven Yidah.

The 2018 FKF Shield Cup winners are expected to make their debut at the continental stage when they represent Kenya in the Caf Confederation Cup next season.
