Kakamega Homeboyz secures new sponsorship deal

Kakamega Homeboyz are also in talks with a betting firm that may come in as a second sponsor

Kakamega Homeboyz have warned KPL opponents ahead of the new season after they secured a sponsorship deal with Kakamega County.

According to club chairman, Cleophas Shimanyula, the new sponsorship deal which Goal understands is in the region of Sh20million, will go a long way in helping the club pay  players and the technical bench.

“We are going to be a force to reckon with next season. Teams should expect a different Homeboyz because we’ll be in a good position to pay our players,” said Shimanyula.

The team is also in talks with a betting firm that may come in as a second sponsor. “Details of the (sponsorship) talks will be revealed later but we are currently negotiating with one more sponsor."
