The Amakhosi manager has also showered his opposite number, Kaitano Tembo with praise for his exploits with Matsatsantsa.
For the Soweto giants, they have suffered three draws and a loss to the Clever Boys in their Premier Soccer League (PSL) campaign, but defeated Free State Stars in their quarter-final of the knockout competition.
“We will continue to prepare for this game, it is important for us, but it will be very difficult because the opponent is very good and strong,” Solinas told the media on Thursday.
“I have big respect for SuperSport because they were strong in their last three games, they won their last three games against Pirates, Wits and AmaZulu – they are a very good team,” he added.
“They have a fantastic coach, he prepares the team very well and is very good in tactics and strategy, so this will be a difficult game for us in every situation,” continued the Amakhosi coach.
“Physically they will be difficult because they fight and tactically. We need to focus, concentrate and work hard because that will not be an easy match,” responded the Italian manager.
Amakhosi are under pressure to lift trophies as they are still haunted by their three-year trophy drought which they suffered under ex-coach Steve Komphela.
On the other hand, the former Free State Stars boss has confirmed that new signings Mario Booysen and Lebogang Manyama will not make their debuts on Saturday.
“For the Saturday game against SuperSport, both Mario and Lebo are not available. They need fitness, so they won’t be in the squad for the next game,” Solinas concluded.
