Jonevret reportedly wants SuperSport United striker Brockie at Orlando Pirates

Premier Soccer League (PSL) giants Orlando Pirates have been linked with SuperSport United centre forward Jeremy Brockie.

The New Zealand international is enjoying another good season in front of goal - having scored 14 goals in all competitions for Matsatsantsa.

His goalscoring exploits have reportedly attracted interest from Pirates, according to The Citizen source.

It is believed that Bucs coach Kjell Jonevret has identified Brockie as a possible target ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

“He wants Brockie to play just behind (Thamsanqa) Gabuza and pick up any loose balls and put them away," the source said.

"He doesn’t have that kind of finisher in his team at the moment and Brockie is one he has seen," the source continued.

"He was impressed by his accurate shooting,” the source concluded.

Brockie is the leading goalscorer in this year's Caf Confederation Cup with five goals.
