They all count, the old adage goes, and Sandro Wagner will agree after downing former club Hoffenheim with the help of a body part little used in football.
The Bayern Munich man was on target as the Bavarians recovered from two goals down to smash the visitors 5-2 on Saturday.
Wagner rounded off the scoring in the final seconds, using a rather unorthodox method to beat Hoffenheim keeper Oliver Baumann.
The ball appeared to strike Wagner in the genitals on the way to the net, a fact acknowledged by the striker after the final whistle.
"[The goal] was a mixture of this area. I do not want to go into that now," the player said, while signalling to his pelvic region in the mixed.
"My best part might have been involved, but I'm not sure anymore. It just went so fast. It was very pleasant."
Bayern's win keeps the Bundesliga holders 16 points clear of nearest challengers Schalke at the league summit, and on course to retain the title for an incredible sixth year running.
