Coach Miguel Portugal is adamant to win against NorthEast and prevent them from doing the double...

It will be a battle between two teams from the bottom half of the table when NorthEast United host Delhi Dynamos at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday. Delhi Dynamos will go level on points with NorthEast United if they manage to get three points against the Highlanders.

Dynamos head coach Miguel Portugal stressed that the team does not need extra motivation as they want to win and not finish last in the table.

"Motivation is something that is professional. The same situation is for NorthEast as well. The motivation heading into this match for both the teams is to make sure we don’t finish at the bottom. It is simple as we have to win the game. This match is like a final for us as we want to win," said Portugal.

The Spanish coach will also want to avoid getting beaten twice by NorthEast.

"It doesn’t matter what happened last time. It’s a new match and we are aiming for the win against NorthEast," stated Portugal.

The former Real Madrid B coach also handed out a list of players who are injured and cannot make it for tomorrow's match.

"A number of players are injured and out. Nandha Kumar, Edu Moya, Albino Gomes, Pritam Kotal, Romeo Fernandes, Jeroen Lumu all these players are out. They don't have time for recovery. But this does not matter as I am sure we will play well," informed Portugal.
