ISL 2017-18: Kerala Blasters sign Icelandic striker Gudjon Baldvinsson

Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Kerala Blasters have announced the signing of Gudjon Baldvinsson to reinforce their striking department. 

The Icelandic international striker joins the Men in Yellow on loan from Icelandic club FC Stjarnan.

Baldvinsson has previously plied his trade for the likes of FC Nordsjaelland and has also featured in the Europa League. 

The 31-year-old striker is replacing Dutch striker Mark Sifneos who was released by the Blasters and is now close to joining FC Goa. 

The 6 feet 1/2 inch tall striker is expected to provide some variety to the Blasters attack which comprises of the likes of Iain Hume and Dimitar Berbatov.
