I was determined to stop Abuja, Bauchi's Galadima

The midfielder had to turn in between the sticks for his side and was arguably the most impressive lad as he stopped Fosla boys from a winning start

Fariah Foundation's Abubakar Galadima reveals he was determined to stop Fosla Academy, so as to make up for their loss on the first day of the Ilorin regionals of the Copa Coca-Cola.

Despite having to play out of his default midfield position - as the team's goalkeepers could not pass the screening process, Galadima produced an awe-inspiring performance to see the Bauchi outift claim a 0-0 draw against Abuja.

"The game was very good but I wish we had won the game but we held on and drew the game 0-0 and I think maybe next time we would correct the errors we made so that we can win the game," Galadima told Goal.

"I had it in my mind to stop every of their moves, I'm the goalkeeper of the team. They screened our two goalkeepers that's why I made up my mind that I will do it and God helped me come out top.

"I'm the captain, I'm a midfielder so God helped me perform that miracle.
