Gor Mahia captain Harun Shakava says the team will be going for maximum points when they take on Zoo Kericho on Thursday.
The champions have not had an easy ride in their latest league outings, collecting a single point from the four matches played. Speaking ahead of the match, Shakava says an improved game will be on display as the team aims at winning the remaining two games.
“It is true we have not had a good run, but we want to put that behind us when we face Zoo on Thursday. Yes, we have the trophy but that does not mean we will relax, we want maximum points and to be honest, Zoo will not find it easy against us.
“Yes, they are good players but we have prepared well for them and I believe we will have maximum points at the end of the day,” Shakava told Goal.
Gor Mahia received their 17th league trophy after a 2-2 draw against United last Sunday.
