IF Brommapojkarna have confirmed the signing of Johanna on their official page. “The seventh new player in BP's men's group becomes Kenyan midfielder Eric Johana Omondi, who joins from Vasalund IF. The technical offensive player has signed a four-year agreement.”

An elated Johanna told the club’s official website that it felt great to sign for the team. “It feels wonderful to be here in BP. I am a team player and hope to contribute to the team's success. I got a good impression of the club when I played against them in November.”

Johanna scored five goals for Vasuland including a brace in his last match last month, though his side was eventually relegated to the lower tier in the Swedish League.
