Harambee Stars defender Ismael Said Athuman Gonzalez has signed for Spanish side CF Fuenlabrada.

Gonzalez has penned a one year deal with an option of extending the same with the third tier side. The club have confirmed the capture of the Kenyan, who has been capped three times with Harambee Stars and joins from Granada B.

"Ismael Said Athuman is the sixth member of CF Fuenlabrada. The young 22-year-old arrives from Granada B and had previously fought in the Cacereño and Las Palmas Atletico. Despite his youth he accumulates 25 matches in Segunda B and will be an important reinforcement for the team at the back," said a statement on the club's official website.

The statement added, "Ismael signed with one season with option to another. The midfielder, who has already started the pre-season with the team, is adapting perfectly to a wardrobe that has received him with open arms. Good luck, Ishmael!"
