Wazito came from a goal down after Luiz Ousman gave the bankers the lead only for Dennis Gicharu to draw them equal

Wazito FC knocked out fellow National Super League side, KCB 4-3 on post match penalties in GOtv round of 32 on Sunday.

Wazito came from a goal down after Luiz Ousman gave the bankers the lead only for Dennis Gicharu to draw them equal with an 80th minute header that sent the match into penalty shootout.

Gicheru would later convert from the spot alongside Joe Waithira, Pistone Mutamba and Johnstone Omurwa to send Wazito into the round of 16.

Franco Balabala and Chrispinus Onyango sent their takes wide and the bankers, who were relegated to the lower tier league in 2015, could do little to help despite Kennedy Owino, Ronald Okoth and Teddy Osok converting.

Both sides are separated by a single point in the NSL table, though Wazito are two places above KCB on 32 points.
