K'Ogalo moved top of the 18-team league table despite securing a 0-0 draw against Tusker in a mid-week league match

Gor Mahia striker Ephrem Guikan is out of danger after suffering injury during their league match against Tusker on Wednesday.

The Ivorian striker fell awkwardly on the ground after going for an aerial ball under challenge from Tusker goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng’ and was rushed to hospital.

K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda has confirmed to Goal that the player is out of danger and has been released from hospital.

“Guikan suffered a knock after falling awkwardly from the aerial challenge. He suffered concussion but doctors have cleared him. He is now out of danger and can play next match if the coach wants to use him.”

Aduda has also confirmed that Kenyan Premier League have moved their league match against Bandari from Sunday to Saturday. “We were supposed to play on Sunday in a double header but the match has now been shifted to Saturday.

“It is a good move so that players can have much time to rest as we have a Caf Champions League match against Esperence of Tunisia on Wednesday.”
