Gor Mahia captain suspended for Ulinzi Stars clash

K'Ogalo will have to navigate their vital league match against the soldiers minus influential skipper in Kisumu on Sunday

Gor Mahia will be without skipper Musa Mohammed when they take on Ulinzi Stars in a Kenyan Premier League match on Sunday.

Only two points separates the two sides with K’Ogalo sitting second on the log with 27 points ahead of the Nakuru-based soldiers, who are third on 25 points. But Gor Mahia received a major blow ahead of the crunch game following the suspension of captain, who was sent off in their 2-0 defeat against Sofapaka in last league match.

Zoo Kericho are also set to do without Bernard Odhiambo against Mathare United. Odhiambo helped Zoo to a 3-3 draw against Kakamega Homeboyz in last league match where he picked his fifth yellow card which locks him out of the match. Zoo will take on Mathare United at the Green Stadium in Kericho.

The Kericho-based side are 14th on the standing, four places above Mathare United, who are lying second from bottom.
