Gor Mahia beat Zanzibar's JKU to finish third in Cecafa tournament

Gor Mahia finished third after beating Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi (JKU) 2-0 in the 2018 Cecafa Kagame Cup third-place play-off. 

Francis Mustapha and Samuel Onyango both scored in the second half to hand K'Ogalo Sh1million prize money.

After a barren first half, Gor Mahia went ahead in the 52nd minute courtesy of Mustapha, before Onyango made it 2-0 with three minutes to go.

The 16-time Kenyan champions will now turn their attention to Caf Confederation Cup match against Yanga next Wednesday.

Gor Mahia will be hoping to register their first win after setting for draws against Rayon Sports and USM Alger. K'Ogalo managed a 1-1 draw against Rayon Sports before holding USM Algier to barren draw.
