Golden Arrows winger Kudakwashe Mahachi will reportedly join Orlando Pirates in January

Lamontville Golden Arrows midfielder Kudakwashe Mahachi has reportedly signed for Orlando Pirates.

The latest reports have indicated that the 24-year-old will join the Buccaneers this week ahead of their PSL clash with Baroka FC.

A source on Zimbabwean publication, Chronicle, stated that Mahachi has been on loan at Abafana Bes'thende having joined Pirates from Mamelodi Sundowns prior to start of the current season.

"The whole deal was kept under wraps," the source said.

"Mamelodi Sundowns took Oupa Manyisa from Pirates and offered them Mahachi but it was kept a secret," the source added.

"The boy will however join Orlando Pirates in January," the source concluded.

According to the publication, Pirates' administrative manager Floyd Mbele could neither confirm nor deny the move.

It is said that Mahachi might make his Bucs debut on Saturday against Baroka at the Orlando Stadium.
