Gambia’s Modou Barrow completes Reading move

The 24-year-old winger has joined the Championship outfit from the Liberty Stadium for an undisclosed fee

Modou Barrow has signed a four-year deal with Reading, from English Premier League club Swansea City.

The Gambia international will stay at the Madejski Stadium until 2021 and will help Jaap Stam’s men fight for promotion to the English topflight league.

Barrow played 18 league games for the Swans before he was loaned out to Leeds United for the remainder of the 2016-17 season where he made five appearances.

He could make his competitive debut when they visit Queens Park Rangers for their first Championship game of the season on Saturday.
