Galatasaray in talks to hijack Swansea target Andre Ayew

Galatasaray are in talks to sign Andre Ayew from West Ham United.

The Hammers recently turned down a £14 million fee for the Ghana international to return to Swansea City, as they are holding out for more.

However, Turkish giants Galatasaray have been in talks with West Ham and are ready to have the 28-year-old on loan till the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

Ayew’s current contract with the London Stadium outfit runs out in 2019 which means he would be in the final year with the London side when he returns from the loan spell in Turkey.

The former Marseille man has chalked up 18 English Premier League appearances, with nine as starts, for David Moyes' side. He has three goals to his name.
