Former Tusker FC head coach Francis Baraza has refuted claims that he is in charge of the Kenyan Premier League side Chemelil Sugar. 

The experienced tactician has been spotted conducting training sessions at the club, raising speculations over his role.

However, the former international has told Goal that there is nothing official from the club and it is just a courtesy call to coach Charles Odera. 

"No, I have not taken over at the club, those reports are not factual.

"Odera is my friend and he asked for my help in shaping the team considering the fact that many of the experienced players left.

“My job here is just to help and I have not received any contract, contrary to what I am hearing. 

"If anything pops up then I will consider but for now as it stands there is nothing concrete."
