Nigeria U17 women team are now in Yaounde ahead of Sunday's must-win Fifa U17 Women's Cup qualifying clash at the Ahmadou Adhijo Stadium.
The Nigerian delegation departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to Yaounde, venue of the final round, second leg tie en-route Lome same day.
A fortnight ago, the Flamingos forced the Cameroonians to a 2-2 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City leaving their qualification dreams hanging.
Prior to their trip, the Flamingos had played three friendlies, winning two including a 1-0 victory over Confluence Queens and losing 3-1 to an Abuja selected side.
Nigeria have featured in all the previous five Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup and will be aiming to avoid missing the event for the first time in history in Uruguay later this year.
The eventual winner over two legs will claim one of the three African slots to the international women's youth showpiece in the South American nation later in November.
