Finland will be aiming to take a huge step towards Euro 2020 when they host Italy on Sunday night.

The Eagle-owls have never qualified for a major tournament and are guaranteed at least a spot in the play-offs after winning their Nations League group, but a top-two finish in Group J will mean they reach the tournament directly.

They currently sit second with four wins and one loss to their name, which came against Italy back in March, whilst the Azzurri can make it six wins from six with victory in Tampere.

Latest Odds

Sportsbet offer just 1.57 that the visitors take all three points and strengthen their place at the top of the group.

A draw for Finland would certainly be welcomed by the home fans and that is priced at 3.50, with victory for them available at 5.50.

Team News

Teemu Pukki is in fine form for Norwich City and will lead the line for Finland again, having scored the winner against Greece last Thursday.

Lorenzo Pellegrini could start for Italy after his goal off the bench against Armenia, whilst his namesake Luca will be hoping to make his international debut.

Italy’s 3-1 victory over Armenia was their fifth consecutive competitive win and they will surely be determined to not let up after failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Another win on Sunday night would see them move six points clear of their opponents, although they will certainly have their work cut out to make it convincing on the scoresheet.

Indeed, Finland held the Azzurri to just two goals in the reverse fixture and ten of their last eleven games have seen two goals or fewer, whilst the other ended 2-1.

Tips and Prediction

Italy should have more than enough to see them home and backing them to win with under 2.5 goals pays out at a promising 3.25 with Sportsbet.

A slightly safer option can be found in the form of the Azzurri winning a match featuring under 3.5 goals at 2.00.
