Fantasy Football: Manchester City trio lead our Goal Premier League Team of the Week

Matchweek 11 has come and gone and, again, it’s time to look at the best Premier League performers. Unsurprisingly, the three highest point getters in the Goal game this week all come from Manchester City after their comprehensive 6-1 win against Southampton. You can find them and the rest of our Team of the Week below.

GK: Kasper Schmeichel - Leicester City - 1 Game, 3 Saves, 1 Clean Sheet = 8 Points

DF: Ben Chilwell - Leicester City - 1 Game, 1 Assist, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

On a day that was so meaningful for Leicester, Chilwell put in a fantastic performance on Saturday. Not only did he help the Foxes pick up just their third clean sheet of the season, but he also recorded the match-winning assist against Cardiff. Considering he faces bottom-10 defences in three of his next four fixtures, Chilwell looks a solid differential play for the next few weeks.

DF: Christopher Schindler - Huddersfield - 1 Game, 1 Assist, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

DF: James Milner - Liverpool - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

DF: Seamus Coleman - Everton - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

MF: Raheem Sterling - Manchester City - 1 Game, 2 Goals, 2 Assists = 20 Points

Southampton were profoundly incapable of doing anything to slow down Raheem Sterling this weekend. The Manchester City man both scored and assisted twice against the Saints which has made him our Goal Fantasy Player of the Week. Currently sitting behind only Eden Hazard and Mohamed Salah at his position in the Goal game, Sterling is a terrific own and is only not a must-own because of how difficult it would be to fit all three superstar midfielders into your team.

MF: Leroy Sane - Manchester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 2 Assists = 14 Points

MF: Felipe Anderson - West Ham - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 14 Points

FWD: Sergio Aguero - Manchester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 2 Assists = 13 Points

Aguero has been the one consistent, shining light at forward this season. In fact, over the last five matchweeks, the Argentine striker has scored as many goals as Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, and Roberto Firmino combined (3). Next, he will face a Manchester United defence that is much scarier in name than in practice as they have conceded the sixth most goals this season while earning just a single clean sheet. Feel free to start Aguero without fear this week.

FWD: Richarlison - Everton - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 12 Points

FWD: Alvaro Morata - Chelsea - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 12 Points

Morata has certainly not had the easiest beginning to the season, but it seems he’s finally starting to build some momentum. His brace on Sunday makes it four goals in the last five matches, which is his second-best run since joining the London outfit. It remains to be seen if he will be able to keep this up and his price is still a little high for his returns but, there’s a good player in there and he could end up being a useful fantasy asset at times this season.
