Ulsan Hyundai's Mislav Orsic has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 6-2 win over Melbourne Victory in an AFC Champions League Matchday three fixture.
Orsic was exceptional, scoring two goals, as the South Korean side put in an impressive performance against their A-League opponents. He was also named the Toyota Player of the Week.
Ulsan were two goals up inside 20 minutes before the Croatian forward netted his first on 38 minutes and, with 15 minutes to play, Orsic added the final goal – his fourth of the campaign. He created four chances for his teammates apart from scoring those goals and contributed with three tackles.
Also in the fray for the honour were Adrian Mierzejewski of Sydney FC and Al Jazira's Ali Mabkhout - both of whom were impressive in the games this past week.
But the fans made their voice count as Orsic received a whopping 80% of the votes.
