EXTRA TIME: PSL rewards the best of the best

Cape Town City captain Lebogang Manyama was named PSL Player of the Month for February, while Pitso Mosimane of Mamelodi Sundowns won the accolade for the best coach. 

There were other recipients on the day. The PSL handed out four accolades for best goals scored between August and December last year.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Lebese, Sundowns attacker Percy Tau, Orlando Pirates full-back Marc van Heerden and Baroka FC goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke were all honoured.

Van Heerden's goal against Baroka whilst on the books of Chippa United won him the award for August/September 2016, while Lebese won the accolade for October. 

Masuluke's outrageous goal against Orlando Pirates was voted the best for the month of November, with Tau's goal against Free State Stars winning the Goal of the Month award for December.
