Hunt and Josephs were named Coach and Player of the Month respectively, while Shabba's goal against SuperSport earned him the Goal of the Month award

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Wednesday honoured three top performers for the month of May.

Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt and goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs were named Coach and Player of the Month respectively, while Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala walked away with the accolade for the best goal scored during that period.

The 32-year-old veteran winger admitted that it felt good to be scoring goals for the team.

“It is great to still be able to score some of the goals and help the team win matches,” Shabba told the media after receiving his award.

“It’s important to work as a team by creating chances for each other,” he said.

Congratulations to the three gentlemen.
