EXTRA TIME: Okocha makes golf debut in Kenya Open

The former Super Eagles skipper swapped his football boots for golf clubs as the European Tour Challenge kicks off in the East African country

African legend, Jay Jay Okocha has finally found a substitute for football after making his first golf appearance in the Barclays Pro-Am Open Challenge in Kenya on Wednesday.

The former Bolton Wanderers midfielder was a competitor in the pre-tournament challenge with main event, Barclays Kenya Open Golf Championship billed to commence on Thursday through to Sunday.

Okocha who scored 85 career goals in 454 club games, enjoyed a few rounds of golf in the Muthaiga Golf Club - venue for this year's golf course before sharing his experience on his social media page.
