EXTRA TIME: Mohamed Salah enjoys time at the beach

Following an outstanding debut season with Liverpool - and a disappointing World Cup exit with Egypt, Mohamed Salah has resorted to cool off on the beach.

Salah who was given extended break after World Cup duty was spotted shirtless and kayaking in the middle of the sea.

The fleet-footed forward scored staggering 44 goals in his first season with Jurgen Klopp’s side which included a record-breaking 32 goals in the Premier League, posted a picture of himself in a swimming pant while he enjoys his drink from a coconut.

On his country’s return to the World Cup stage since 1990, Salah missed their first Group A game against Uruguay in Russia, but he returned to action against Russia and Saudi Arabia.

The forward scored two goals in two games but could not stop the Pharaohs from bowing out at the first round.

As the Reds will continue their preparation for the 2018-19 season, the Egypt international and Senegal's Sadio Mane are expected to join their teammates for their trip to the US where they will play Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Manchester United in the International Champions Cup.
