EXTRA TIME: Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali responds to criticism after Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns links

The Bafana Bafana midfielder has started to defend his intentions after being hurt by fan criticism

In recent seasons when Andile Jali played for Oostende in Belgium, Orlando Pirates fans were always dreaming of their midfield maestro returning to the Ghosts. 

It was a desperate hope when Bucs were struggling in the league, and now that Pirates are a force again, the fans are upset that Jali is linked with fierce rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Jali hasn't taken the criticism well, and here's how he's responded on Twitter.

We also include a bonus Tweet, this from Thandi Merafe of Orlando Pirates, who's not as upset as some South African fans about the retirement of a cricket legend, AB De Villiers. Maybe Pirates fans should be just as 'cool' about Jali not returning to Pirates.
