EXTRA TIME: Bafana fans fearful after Itumeleng Khune injury

Comments
Look away Wayne Sandilands and Kurt Lentjies! South Africa's Twitter followers are not being very kind to these two footballers

After Kaizer Chiefs keeper Itu Khune's injury against Chippa United, South African soccer fans went into full-on panic mode!

They're all horrified at the thought of Khune not playing against Senegal. To make matters worse they're imagining what it would be like if Orlando Pirates keeper Wayne Sandilands would be on goal.

To be fair on Sandilands he hasn't been bad, but that terrible mistake against Sundowns is fresh on PSL fans memory. Sandilands virtually carried Hlompho Kekana's shot into the goal.

Here's how Twitter expressed themselves after Khune's injury, even though there's still hope that the keeper might recover in time for the Senegal game. Is the injury all Leintjies fault?
