Ex-AFC Leopards keeper optimistic of 'new' start

Former AFC Leopards goalkeeper Lukas Indeche is hopeful of joining one of the Kenyan Premier League teams before the transfer window closes in six days' time.

The custodian is among players the 13-times league champions released as they restructured for the new season. Indeche has revealed some two teams are keen on his services and before the end of the week he is hopeful all will be well.

"I have been training a lot with a local side here, aiming to be as fit as possible and to maintain my reflexes. Well, there is something going on, and by tomorrow (Thursday), or Friday I will know my next destination.

"It is definitely going to be a very competitive season and as a matter of fact, I do not want to be left out," he told Goal.
