Bailly fired up for Super Cup game against Real Madrid

Cote d’Ivoire international, Eric Bailly is thrilled with Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Sampdoria in their last pre-season game.

The 23-year-old defender expressed his feelings on the social media after the victory and is fired up for their European Super Cup game against Real Madrid.

 “A win in our last pre-season game before the European Super Cup Final, let's go United,” Bailly tweeted.

Bailly got some minutes under his belt as he replaced Chris Smalling in the 77th minute of the encounter.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored from close range few minutes after kick-off to put Jose Mourinho’s men in front.

Dennis Praet levelled proceedings in the 63rrd minute for Marco Giampaolo’s men after his shot from outside the box beat De Gea.

Juan Mata secured the maximum victory for the Old Trafford giants with a well-taken strike in the 81st minutes.
