Benin international Isaac Loute has disclosed that his Enugu Rangers side will be ready for their top-flight encounter with Nasarawa United following a friendly win.
Emene United had defeated the Flying Antelopes 2-0 last Saturday but Loute and Onyedika Ogbuke’s strikes ensured they pipped them on the same margin on Wednesday.
And the 26-year-old has expressed his delight after he inspired his side to victory over the Nigeria Nationwide League at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
"I am happy with our performance in the match and also pleased to score for my team," Loute told Goal.
"It was a good omen for us, even though we missed a lot of chances in the game but got a positive result.
"We played against a tough side because Emene United gave us a very good test which I think we really help us as we get ready for the league resumption.
"We are getting prepared and I can assure all that Enugu Rangers will be ready for Nasarawa United next week."
Gbenga Ogunbote’s side are tenth on the Nigerian league log with 33 points from 25 games and will be aiming for a home win over the Solid Miners.
