Maguli is former Simba Sports Club striker but left the Msimbazi to join Stand United in the 2015 season

Tanzanian international player Elius Maguli is close in on a move to Yanga after his talks to sign for South African Premier Championship side Polokwane City FC fell through in the last January transfer window.

According to Kona ya Michezo the player will sign for the Jangwani outfit Yanga who seem to be eager to acquire his services.

“Maguli will sign Yanga Sports Club if we reach an agreement. He is currently a free agent and after we fail to reach an agreement with Polokwane failed, so that we looking for another team and Yanga are showing firm interest to sign him,” the source said.

Maguli is former Simba Sports Club striker but left the Msimbazi to join Stand United in the 2015 season.

Yanga are expected to part ways with their Zimbabwean striker Donald Ngoma who is suffering from a long-term injury and striker Obrey Chirwa being linked with arch rivals Simba.
