Ebere Orji scores in Umea's victory over Mallbacken

The Nigerian forward found the net in her Swedish side's win over David Umeclir's ladies in a women's league game at the Umeå Energi Arena

Ebere Orji increased her league goal tally to five as Umea defeated Mallbacken 4-1 in a Swedish Elitettan game at the Umeå Energi Arena.

The 24-year-old netted her side's second goal of the encounter in the 32nd minute after Emma Kullberg handed them the early lead.

But Nkemjika Ezurike pulled one back for the visitors in the two minutes before the halftime.

In the 62nd minute, Anina Wede added the third before Wilma Oman scored at the latter stage of the encounter to complete the riot on Sunday.

The Nigerian's goal was her seventh in ninth appearances in all competitions this season since joining from Hungary's Ferencváros in August.

The win took Robert Bergström's ladies up to sixth on the table with 37 points from 25 games and they will face Sundsvall in their next encounter at Norrporten Arena on November 12.
