David Silva a doubt for Manchester derby after injury vs Arsenal

Manchester City playmaker David Silva was forced out of the club's FA Cup semi-final tie with Arsenal on Sunday afternoon due to an injury.

The Spain international was replaced by Raheem Sterling after 23 minutes having picked up a knock from a heavy challenge by Gunners defender Gabriel.

Silva could now miss City's derby clash with Manchester United on Thursday, depending on the severity of the injury.

Pep Guardiola's City host Jose Mourinho and his United side on April 27 knowing a win for the visitors could see them overtake City in fourth place. 

City then travel to Middlesbrough before three consecutive home games against Crystal Palace, Leicester City and West Brom, with their season concluding at Watford on the final day.
